Autism Action believes that the when a child is diagnosed with and Autism Spectrum Disorder that it is really a family diagnoses as it affect everyone in some way or another. Feelings of frustration and helplessness are common when children are first diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder. This service is committed to providing parents and carers with the necessary skills and resources that will provide real, tangible outcomes.
With one on one guidance and the support of a Family Education Therapist, parents or carers will gain the understanding and teaching skills needed to develop their child’s potential. It is hoped that this empowerment will lead to a happier and confident family, but above all, a happier child!
