Helping Children with Autism Packages.

You will be happy to know that children approved by  FaHCSIA can use up to $2100 per financial year of their package towards therapeutic resources. This is great news for those children who require equipment to develop or acquire skills. As some equipment can be very expensive this is another positive for families who may not otherwise afford such items.

How do I know what equipment is best for my child?

For those children currently using any one of Autism Action's Consortium Members then your therapist will recommend what equipment is required to assist your child's on going therapy. For children actively seeing therapist, recommendation will be discussed in your child's therapy session.                        

For children not actively having sessions, bookings are required.  Please contact your therapist directly to book a resources consultation session.   

For children not using one of Autism Action's Consortium Members then a one off resource consultation session is required.  For bookings, please contact Autism Action learning Centre on 9899 7816 or e-mail.

Administration.

Autism Action loves working with your child and prefers to put energy into delivery of services rather then trying to be a wholesaler therapy/toy supplier.   This means you have more flexibility to use other suppliers,  in turn you have a broader supply of therapy equipment. As this requires extra administration requirements to contact each supplier a 20 percent administration fee will be added to the total cost of your order.

When can I expect delivery?

When possible equipment will be delivered directly to your door.  Other wise items must be collected from  'Autism Action Learning Centre' 44 Birdwood St, Box hill South 3128. As each supplier has it's own delivery times, orders can take any where between 3 days to 4 weeks depending on stock.
